I'm no lawyer, but AFAIK you can't copyright a commonly used word such as
"Yellow" or "Pages". But, "Yellow Pages" could well be a trade mark, in which
case they have every right to object to it being used. The walking fingers
logo is however protected and copyrighted by BT. If I was in this situation
I'd drop the logo but continue with calling it "Amiga Yellow Pages" Maybe
there's someone on this list with a better knowledge of what the legal
standing of this is.

I wouldn't have thought that the fact that it's held on a server in America
really make any difference.
Above all don't give up!

There wasn't the space for workbench.library as well as SCSI and IDE
drivers. So one of them had to be dropped, and workbench.library is the
easiest to replace from disk.

Phase5 are now protected by the German credit protection legal
system. they may now sort out their debts etc by negotiating
with other peopkle to sell their current stock, intellectual rights
and R&D work. The company may actually continue tio exist if it
liscences out everything and just sits back and takes royalities from
its R&D results... eg the G4 card is ready, but needs to be built.

Hi,
I use a 56k USB with my PC (I know) and I get 52,000 connects with NTL cable.
If you are thinking of trying another telephone company then DON`T use Atlantic
Telecom if it`s available in your area. They use a radio link and they have
been advertising since day 1 that you can use it for Data but I wasn`t getting
above 2400 with them. After 4 months of promises that they would sort it out
and excuses of "our system is due for an upgrade, please bear with us" I
eventually gave up!

Hopefully not like the one you sent Chesh who gave his Amiga stuff away and
got a PC .... otherwise you'll just get thought of as a complete idiot and
we don't want people to start stereotyping Amiga users as complete idiots ...
No offence ;-)

Hi,
If anyone is looking for a free ISP including the
free call ones then have a look at FreesiteUK:
http://www.freesiteuk.com
Where appropriate I have mentioned that an ISP
supports the Amiga.
There are also some other general free stuff
sections that you may find useful.
Regards,

i agree in Germany they have "Gelbe Seiten" which translated into English
means "Yellow Pages".So are BT are going to sue Deutche Telekom,i doubt it
very much.
If i were you i would just rename it slightly like Yello Pages or something
that does not involve masses of work.
Cheers
